Improvement Tree was created to give home owners and property owners a place online to look for reliable and qualified home improvement providers and construction businesses. From our contractor directory, home owners and property owners can read the ratings and reviews of contractors and subcontractors in their area left by home owners just like them. Our users can also watch videos and view photo galleries of contractors work. They can also find out whether our not a certain contractor has liability insurance, where or not they have references, or whether or not they accept major credit cards.

The Improvement Tree contractor directory provides all the pertinent information a consumer needs to make an informed choice on what contractor or subcontractor they choose to complete their home improvement project.

Home owners and property owners can also take it a step further by posting their home improvement projects on Improvement Tree. Once submitted, a home owner's project can ONLY be viewed by our registered contractors who can then contact home owners. This creates a bidding environment, which ultimately gets the home owner the best price to have their home improvement project completed.

Our registered contractors can ONLY contact a home owner through our website (via email and a Private Message Board system). After contact is made, it is up to the home owner to decide whether or not they wish to share their personal contact information (address, phone number, etc) with a contractor or subcontractor.

A home owner can keep the bidding process on Improvement TREE as long as they wish, even up to finalizing their choice with a contractor or subcontractor.
Of course, after a project has been completed by using the Improvement Tree contractor directory, we recommend our home owners RATE and REVIEW the business that completed the work so that other home owners can make an informed decision on whether or not to choose that business.

And by posting a project on our website, using our service, you recognize that the responsibility for obtaining permits, hiring licensed and bonded individuals and companies, and notifying pertinent authorities is solely yours.

Service providers, tradespersons, or otherwise also recognize that the responsibility for fulfilling the obligations of a project, collecting monies and/or payment, bidding on appropriate projects, and submitting accurate bids, estimate descriptions, and experience details is yours.

Improvement Tree® is merely an interactive service marketplace that gives individuals the opportunity to connect with and/or chose service providers to fulfill specific and specified needs.

Improvement Tree® will actively monitor both project buyers (bidders) and professional tradespersons (registered service providers) for illegal, unauthorized, or unscrupulous activities. Upon discover, those registered individuals or entities will, depending on severity, will be reprimanded and/or permanently removed from the site and service.
